MR Suspension Squeaks?

Well this is meant for MR owners. Since we have the Bilsteins. I was wondering if you guys have a squeak coming from your rear passenger side. Every time I even go over the smallest bump I hear a squeak. I only have 3000 miles on my car so I dont know what it could be. Its really getting annoying and I play my music to drown it out. Oh I have 18 inch rims. And I know what rubbing sounds like so Im sure its not that. I actually had it when I had my BBS on also. Does anybody else have this problem? Thanks for help

Not that I know of. I haven't heard it under normal driving, when going over speed bumps, or during hard driving during autocrosses.

I have a little under 3,000 miles on mine too no squeaks. Suspension is nice and tight. Now the brakes are another story.

Yea. I dont know what it could be. It doesnt sound like a dangerous squeak. Just one of those annoying things. But here is a question. If my strut was blown it would sound a lot worse then a squeak rite?

I have an MR Bilstein suspension in my 03 EVO. I've had it for a few thousand miles also. During the now departed cold weather I had a squeak that came from the right upper shock mount in the trunk. A couple of shots of WD-40 on the rubber portions of the mount and the small donuts on the shaft cured it. This little squeak was nothing compared to the clunks and bonks of the stock KYB suspension.

I was getting those squeks also. When i lowered it with the Tein springs it still made it. I switched to eibach springs now and the squeaks are gone, plus they match up perfectly with the bilstein shocks. I didnt see any leaks on my shocks either when i inspected them.

Well Im not gonna say Im the smartest guy in the world. But after your replys guys I just checked around for the squeak. And it turns out to be nothing to do with the suspension. It was the fact that for some reason my spare tire was not screwed in tight and it would constantly move up and down when I went over a bump and the rubber caused the squeak. Man I can say this made me feel stupid. But just a lesson for those out there. It can always be anything so dont rule anything out. Anyways thanks for everybodys help.

I think the springs in the front squeak a little when i go over speed bumps. I only notice it then. Windshield rattle--yes. VG rattle--yes (that's getting fixed soon...the glue came undone).
