This is true but, sometimes your insurance company will not RENEW your policy or jack up your rates. In which then you have to go to another insurance company. And all they ask is have you had ANY claims in the last 5 years (even if it's not your fault). And then your rates get jacked.
I had this experience a couple of years ago with a cracked windshield. In Florida they have to fix it for free (the insurance company). So I had it done. When I went to renew they jacked my rates from the previous year cause I had a claim.
Thats why most insurance companies now only have 6 month policies.

it really isn't that bad the bumper sits lower than it should and most of the top mounting brackets that hold the bumper to the car are broken. but it is still secure enough that it is not going anywhere. i was behind an 18 wheeler i went to get into the right lane because my exit was coming up and when i looked to see if it was clear i started to move over. then BAM i hit it. i didn't even see it.
