your wrong there my friend.... they cant raise your insurance as a direct reason for it but if they see multiple claims that were not your fault, then may still raise your insurance because you are "unlucky". the best way is to claim it with the civic's insurance but dont report it w/ yours, as that company is at fault and won't go back to yours.

as for the tire hitting your front end, you will take the hit as it is defined under "comprehensive" coverage. you can cry that its the state that has to clean up blah blah but your insurance will take it out on you anywayz (as you will decide you could have avoided it).

Yup that sounds about right, the same thing happened to a friend of mine, right after he claimed an accident (someone sideswiped his passenger door) even before all the paperworks were done, someone rear ended him at a stoplight. He wasn't at fault for either of those two incidents but his rate went up just because he made too many claims.
