Hey wuz up. Im bored and I wanted to know what was the 1st mod your gonna put on your Evo VIII. As for me the first thing I wanna do is get a Blow off Valve . Post your replys and let me know and everyone else know whats the first mod you wanna do to your Evo VIII.

 

Can't decide between,
1. Stearo/ speaker combo
2. Aluminum pedals
3. Auto dim mirrors
4. Volk racing TE37's
Maybe 4 mod combo deal.

Or if Ralliart ecu comes out power over anything else

 

If I bought one:

1. Swap out the altezzas with some Evo VII's tail lights.

2.Turbo Back Exhaust

3.Snow Tires/wheels.

 

right away:
stereo & radar detector

sometime this summer:
turbo back exhaust & intake

this fall:
2nd set of wheels with winter tires.

next summer:
maybe coilovers, boost controller, ecu... more fun stuff...

 

I second the altezza's .... id like the EVO VII front bumper also

Hey GTR, where are you getting the auto dims from, never had them until I bought my '93 Cadillac, but now really like them for when I have bright lights behind me, very convinient.

 

First Ideas: .. well more like plans. Not sure which ones will get done first.

1. Turbo Timer. can't decide if hks or the apex is better... i might get apex.
2. Lojack... plus alarm system..
3. Stereo.
4. Maybe a blow off valve...... gotta research more on that...
5. Pedals and shift knob...


only real necessities i see.

I third the altezzas. Where are you guys getting the Evo 7 tails from? I like the JDM Evo 8 tails too because they have the orange on the bottom.

Maybe here. My reason is not entirely auto dims. I was spoiled by bmw to believe I must need outside temp, compass and auto dim I dont' know if they fit though. Hopefully lancer guys done is mod and able to help on which kind.

 

right after break in im installing:
greddy full auto timer
greddy emanage
greddy profect e-01
hks super sequestial bov
tein flex coilovers
autometer a/f, egt, and boost gauges
triple a-pillar pod
intake
turbo-back exhaust
plugs/wires
audiobahn aluminum 10"subs w/ 6oo watt amp.
as much weight reduction as possible: no spare, no a/c, etc.

this will be done about 1.5 months after i get my evo!

 

THE FIRST THING IM GOING TO DO AFTER I DRIVE IT A BIT IS PUT IT ON EBAY AND SEE WHAT I CAN FETCH FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT THE FIRST THING OF COURSE IS IM GOING TO DRIVE IT! HARD.
