hey my steering wheel shakes when I hit tha brakes? Are rotors covered by warrantee?

Could be a rotor issue or I read somewhere that if your wheels weren't torqued correctly it'll cause your steering wheel to shake when braking.

 

Could be the brakes, whats your mileage?

 

sounds like warped rotors to me

r u hard on your brakes or have had to slam on them lately???

these could be reasons for warped rotors

It could be warped rotors or pad transfer to the rotor. It should be covered under warranty.

mine do this every once in a while and then it goes away.... im mused to it now

i think they warp and the warp back to the way they are supposed to be...

Ya, its obvious there is what they call thickness variation, or what most call "warped". I know I had a new Jeep Grand cherokee and they didnt cover rotors under the 3/36. But I know Ford does and some others. Just call Mitsu and ask them. If not, get them machined and go on with life.

 

I got mine covered under warranty.

 

take a hose 2 ur brake pads. i had the same problem w/my brakes. if u dont get the brake"crap"out they sound like a** and the wheel shakes! i do mine everytime i wash my car. <which is once a week>
