Need some advice here?
Went to the dealer today just to get some regular maintenance done, and while the car was on the lift the technician noticed the the front lower sub frame brace was beginning to put a dent in my downpipe. He said it may eventually crack the pipe. They recommended buying an RMR lower brace that would clear the donwpipe. I am cool with that and have no problem purchusing one. Here is where I need advice: He said in the mean time while I am waiting to get the RMR piece I could remove the stock front brace, in order to not damage my nice 3" downpipe anymore. My question is this: Is is safe to remove one of the tie bars, and drive around with only one on the car? I don't want to cause any damage to anyelse becuase I removed one of the and drove around. FYI on my driving, I don't really push the car that hard as far as handling is concerned, but I do like to accelerate fast now and then.
Any advice is much appreciated!

Go ahead, I knew of someone who removed both because he had a custom made pipe, didnt harm a thing, and since its short time for you, dont worry, Dont you mear RMR? Rys millen racing? That is where I got mine! This bar is for side to side torquing, not strait line, you have the shock-tower bar under the hood anyway! order it and re install it. the guy did spirited racing without any also!

good idea, I thought you printed RRM, my bad, and I agree, and Wrx Killa has a point, IF you werent going to get a replacement "bar", I would reccomend what he said with the shims! good luck!
If you're going to take it off, try to take it easy in turns, since there will be quite a bit more body flex w/out the tie bar. Once the new bar is installed, you can drive normal again.
