the rubber on the latch rubs with the rubber on the door and it makes loud squeaking noise when the door moves during chasis twist.

Door hanle squeaking, what the bloody hell?!

okay, sounds like this might remedy the sublte squeaking noise I get from the latch area, YEAH!, but have ANY OF YOU gotten a rattling noise come from the inside door handles?? Both drivers and passenger side door handles rattle inside, with only 450 miles on the odo, this is annoying. . . .(yeah, I've searched). . . .I only found some info on it saying that there's a TSB where the MITSU dealer can put felt lining between the latch and the metal so it won't rattle, is this a legitimate fix? BOTH of the handles do this. . . I've got the SSL and can drown out the noise until my first oil change, but I've got to know. . .any help would be

Just an update, called up the dealer, scheduled to get the door handle rattle "examined" tommorrow, they denied a TSB for it, so if any of you have it, that would be great. . . .
they ALSO denied the TSB for the windshield rattle as well, so I'll just take the TSB number and have them pull it up. . .this is my first stealership visit, so I'm already a bit put off. . . .
THEY DID Say there is a turbo coolant hose recall, DUH, I told them to fix that BEFORE I picked my car up last week, I guess it was pre-campaign and they decided to wait until now. . .

It's the door latch. look at the metal hook on your door pillar (the part on the car that the door latch on when it's closed) and see if there's any black plastics that was rubbed off the latch on the door stuck to it. just scrub off the plastic residue with some abrasive and - Voila. now you can send $5 to my paypal account. You is welcome.

edit: this wasn't a rattling noise, more like a loud squeeking sound.
So I guess I owe you $5 too. There was barely any black marks on the latch. I got it all off and magically the sound disappeared. I still can't believe it!
