post some pix, i'm sure we could figure this out.

I'm actually going by hks tt, but I don't see how it could be that different from hks unit.
3 wires and the plug. If you get the harness the plug is pretty self explanitory. Plug it into the harness and plug the harness into the plug on the left side of the steering column. You need to remove it via the 3 screws underneath first. The 3 wires coming out are white, black, and grey. The grey goes to the e-brake, white to your ecu, and black is ground. Here is a great writeup:

i did just like write up told me to.
but in the harness, the red wire which is 12v source doesn't connect to anything.
that's why i didn't get any ignition power.
there are 6 slots with 5 pins in harness.
the red wire pin goes into empty slot.
i thought the haness is bad.
i called apexi usa and they told me it's fine.
how can a power wire going into empty slot is fine!!!
i have to order one from different shop and see if they give me same oriented harness.
thanks for the help~~~

unless the black wire from the relay box is connected to a grounding point, it wont work dude.

that's what i thought at first, so i moved it to ecu ground.
like in write up.
but still no power, that's when i started to look for the harness itself.
the harness, it's a simple plug and play. and it only goes in one way(clip).
why is this thing not working...
but it's okay. in one week, when my new harness arrives, i'll have an answer.
however, my greddy profec2 is working great!!!
i love this thing... took me a day to figure out what all the functions do.
now i am enjoing it every minute~~~

I used a Greddy Harness on mine. It is truly plug and play. $15 from RRE.

wtf? why don't you just answer his question? did you just hear that somewhere and don't really know what you're talking about?

anyway, jshin, i have the apexi TT and used the HKS harness. i grounded the extra black wire to both ECU and chassis, and both worked. As for the O2, i dont have specific info on why not to hook it up, but i have seen references to the O2 wire when people were talking about the blue wire mod on the AFC. this mod would basically work the same as the tt, tapping the o2 wire so that o2 could be read on the AFC. some said that this resulted in a signal degredation on the o2 wire, thus, dont do it. for the record, i have my o2 connected on my tt and it works fine.

hope this helps..

i ordered the universal one. they said all the tt harness is basically same.
so let me see, the power wire hook up to power source where it should be.
yes, i plan to install the O2 voltage too.
that's only reason why i bought apexi. why not use the important function?
