Exclamation Evo 7 US Stats And Price

I hav tha info u need !!! i am an employee for pomona mitsubishi and we hav a evo 7 for show in our ontario dealership : Ontario AutoCenter in California Right Off Tha 15 Freeway! Here Are Tha Stats And Pricing: MSRP: $32,400, 315 hp, 0 to 60 in 4.0 secs flat, 3 suspension modes (snow, gravel, street) and lots of other options!!! Evo 7 will hav 320 hp outside california (emissions) Orginally it was supposed to be comp against tha suburu wrX but that would cost more money to lessen it to a measly 250 hp so they took off tha 276 jap hp limiter and we dyno it at 315 hp. if u hav any questions my email is: jintachi@37.com p.s. tha evo 7 will be released april 2003 p.s.s i will be posting pics of evo 7 instruction manual and pics of tha car soon !!

Can someone who is close to this dealership go check it out? Not that you'd need extra motivation to do so!

I too wave the BS Flag on that Salvalus...

For one reason:
1) If you worked for mitsubishi...what in the hell are you doing posting this **** on the internet??? Not only that...but out of ALL the other forums that float here on the internet....why this one?
I guess really that's two reasons...

I'm with Hooby and rEVOlution on this one. Fact: We know the EVO is coming in 2003. Fact: We don't know how much it will be, or what the final specs are.

You've seen the car there LancerzEvo? Of course there's no doubt in my mind that an EVO7 is there or will be there at some point in time but I cannot imagine for a second that its stats have been finalized and thus the price cannot be fixed yet.

A range like $28-32 would be more believable but then again a fully loaded EVO7GSR with the xenon discharge lamps option could be significantly pricier than a bare-bones EVO7RS without ACD/alloys/brembos so perhaps this is an estimated sticker price of this one particular car and not all EVO7's?

320 hp?!?! That's a significant difference from what we've been hearing. Why so much more than Euro-spec?

I would wave the BS flag at this as well. I don't believe that there is a "limiter" as such on the engine to keep it to 276. There is the infamous "grommet" which can be removed but that can lead to idling problems. Too much of the claims appear to be inconsistant. Sorry

Sounds too good to be true, which most likely means it's not true. I wanna believe you Salvalus, so show us some proof.

We need proof. This is way off everything we have been gathering. Those specs would rock, but It sounds like BS to me as well.......
