Transfer case fill plug

So I did my tranny oil today which was super easy but couldn't do the transfer oil because I didn't have any oil so still waiting on my Diaqueen to come. I'm looking at the transfer case fill plug and it looks like the downpipe is in the way. How the heck do you get to that bolt with the pipe in the way?

Just use a 24mm socket. I had trouble removing the fill plug. Holy S@#$ it felt like it was welded. Even stripped the bolt a little but managed to get it off after cursing the damn bolt. Now I got the socket stuck on the bolt and just screwed it in with the socket stuck on there. Oh well

That sucks but it should come off a little bit easier next time with the socket still in place.

Take care,

the transfer fill plug wasn't bad. i used a 1/2 inch drive ratchet and it fit so a 3/8 ratchet should be as e-z as a black girl at an R.Kelly concert.
