EcuTeK Launch Control Video
Looks like you got a little clutch creep!

After going to the drags a few times w/ no launch contol, I have to say that I miss it. I used to have it in my DSMs and I didn't have to watch the tach at the line. I'm gonna get WORKS to put it into my next flash.

You act as though I've never driven a high-performance AWD auto, nor 'almighty Evo', before - and though I have no need to prove to you why my comments are valid, if your launches consist of '...waiting to hear or feel something break', perhaps you should rethink spending time at the track. Launching is pretty much the determining driving factor for 1/4 you control (outside of shift technique and shift points) - eliminating that, and you didn't really do anything besides row gears. Whatever, to each their own, but I can't say I'd feel proud by buying my launch time.

i had ecutek on my car, prior to the flash i had 295whp and 288tq. after the flash, i had 326whp and 311tq. it pulled so much harder. midrange to topend was pretty amazing. it didn't drop off at the higher rpms, it felt like it wanted to keep pulling.
then i got the AEM. Same ****. Ecutek, in my opinion, is better than just your regular dynoflash (nothing against Al).
Ecutek is a poor man's EMS, and a damn good one at that.

I have already checked and nobody can Flash our ECU's as of yet for this launch control feature. On my first gen Talon they had the feature burned in a aftermarket e-prom that replaced your stock one. You would then hook up a wire to your clutch pedal sensor and you were all set. You were able to pre-select several launch RPM's. Still waiting for someone to make this available with our ECU's.

stock 2005's have a 5k limit and only build around 5-6 psi of boost.

Don't most of the reflashers on this board use Ecutek software?
