10psi isn't enough to keep the car from bogging with some descent tires

Um, wait. You mean this thing has the driver press the clutch to the wall and floor the gas pedal. RPMs go to 6K (or wherever) and boost builds to 10PSI????

Then it's a matter of releasing well for the launch is all?

Really ?????

Um, yeah, just like any launch control...

The 05s have this feature stock, but the limiter is set at 5k, which is too low to be very effective.

OK, 5K, but does it create boost other than putting one's foot at 5K and having vacuum?

Damn, this would be a godsend!

you never seen a 2 studder box before?

both feet on the floorboard, lift the clutch foot and ride out of the whole at 10psi. Much better chance of getting wheel hop though and tearing your t-case to ****.

On my 05 MR it builds about 6 lbs of boost. Not enough unless you slip the clutch slow. On my Eclipse, I would build about 14lbs of boost which was way better at 6000 RPM on my BR 440 turbo. Nothing like a 1.59 60' to help out the ET.

Mine (05')will build 7psi and I could have sworn it was @ 5.5k. Anyway no bog just an awesome launch. Until I picked up alot more power and bigger stickier tires. Stock clutch will not hold a stutter box launch anymore. Have to launch it at 4.5k oscillating the revs and the clutch will hold that. No bogg just poor 60' 's. This is a cool feature for 03'-04' crowd. It really makes things more consistant.

The Ecutek launch control is adjustable and can be set, at any RPM. Also with the ecutek there is a lean spool up feature that helps spool larger turbo's quicker. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, so if there are any takers in the area with a big turbo car that is on stock ecu.. PM me. I would love to test out this new lean spool feature aswell.
