LOL, your ON. lets see, 3 12.0x runs with stock clutch and slick stock tires.....

i hope i atleast see 11.8x with the new clutch and tires. And if i don't....unless youve added some significant parts i don't see you dipping below 12.1 anyway....

but you know how the dragstrip goes....they don't call it the heartbreaker for nothin.

HA. Hey, you have any idea how strict they are with the tech cards? I may bring my battery tray and stock upper IC piping incase, but i really dont wanna lug that crap up there.

Anyone got an extra mini battery they could bring with them, in case i have to take mine out of the trunk???

Add me in for the twisty stuff as well. It should be a no brainer to take first place.

Im pretty sure this track is strict.Your best bet is to just look at the track rules and follow them so its not a waste of a trip for you.

Yah, well that's the challenge. I expect at least a .1s improvement from the ACT in place of the stocker, since my 60' on the 12.22 was only 1.75. A 1.65 should be do-able, so a .1s faster 60' should be AT LEAST .1s faster at the 1/4 (maybe more). Then, I will be using my SECRET WEAPON: an actual full EXHAUST (amazing, I know). With the stock dp and cat replaced by a 3" dp/tp, I will not only pick up 15-20whp, but I will then be able to run REAL race gas followed by some more aggressive tuning. If I can't gain .23s on my ET from the clutch/exhaust/116oct, then I will be disappointed. It's not going to be easy, but I think I can do it.

Do you expect the 11.8x with the cutout open or with it closed? I'm only challenging you in full exhaust mode!

cutout closed.

My only problem now is being able to run my upper IC pipe. My battery is in the trunk illegally by NHRA rules because there is no cutoff switch.....i could move it back to the engine bay, but id have to go back to the stock upper IC piping with stock DV....dunno if it will hold all my boost.

and also, ill be running c16 and alky....those 117mph traps were with 110 octane. BUT, i really hope i get to go. I don't wanna buy a new upper small battery just to go....im hoping maybe al has an extra he can lend me on track day or something.

Last year the tech was a joke.. they didn't make me pop my hood or trunk.. As long as you drive the car there and have an inspection sticker on the car you should be ok.

We will be staying at the hilton, its off exit #9 on the turnpike. Nice hotel.. little more pricey, but they have covered parking and an on duty patrol.

Oh, then you should beat me EASILY, Jeff. No problem...no PRESSURE EITHER.

Remember, whatever time I hit will be at no more than 111mph, so there's going to be a lot of confused looks on people's faces. I can't go over 111 in 4th, so the only way I could possibly trap higher than 111 is if

1) the traps read higher there for whatever reason, or
2) I get through 4th so early that I'm able to shift to 5th and build boost quickly enough to surpass 111. Since I only hit 106 (12.34) the last time I tried to go to 5th, I don't really see that happening. It will be possible, though, since I'll get to the end of 4th much sooner due to the increase power (20-25whp?) and the quicker 60'. Who knows? It's going to be interesting to see...

you will need to shift to 5th to get your best ET. don't wait till the line to shift though....probably have to shift at just iver 7k.

i dunno, experiment with it. i know, when i go to the 1/8th, i have to hold it to the floor ON the rev limit for a bit....i didn't have enough time to try shifting to 4th.
