Alcohol or NOS
speaking vicariously through my friends, i must say NOS because they are addicted. they both love it and i know why, i rode in one of my buddies with NOS and it was definitely really nice. I have not experienced alcohol yet but i am sure it is much the same, and i have heard many good things about it. as far as now though, NOS gets my vote.

Yes there are huge tuning differences. One is by itself a power adder (nitrous) and the other is more of a lean/detonation preventer. When running nitrous the boost must be turned down 5-10psi depending on how big the hit is, this si due to the huge increase in exhaust volume created when on the button. I have not done a lot of testing on the Evo with it yet but on the Talon with a 20G and the boost set to 18psi I would easily see 26psi and hold that to redline with the nitrous on. THis was a 150 shot.
Basically you leave yoru fuel settings for the 20psi but turn the boost down and then adding fuel for the nitrous is completely independent through the jets in the nozzle. If running a wet system of course, I have never used a dry system.
