Blinkers

I have searched and could not find an answer to my question anywhere so please link me to it if you know.

I sent my lights off to evodave and I want to put LED turn signals in the front back and the blinkers by the door. I have read that you need the 6 ohm resistors for every light bulb so you don't get the hyper blinker effect.

How many of the resistor's do I have to get? Do I have to get them for all 6 bulbs? Which bulb socket's on our car causes hyper blinking when to low of power?

I just tried my blinkers with no tail or head lights plugged in and it didn't hyper blink. I guess it won't hyper blink with LED's?

I was thinking about this too......when I owned my s14, I orderd a little relay and I did not have to cut to any wires........but I have not found such a device forthe EVO or a LANCER for that matter.

Well then I'll let you know. I ordered just LED's last night. So if they hyper blink I'm gonna be pissed but you'll know.

Well I'm pissed

You have to have the 6 ohm resistors on the front and back blinkers for both sides. But you don't have to have them for the side blinkers underneath the mirrors. If you don't have the resistors on all 4 blinkers than you get a hyper blink on the respective side which I hate .

arent resistors easily accessible through your local radio shack? or do they not have the right kinds of resistors for this application?

I agree with the Radio Shack answer, they have damn near everything electronic, and the stores are everywhere
