Rant: floormat hook
Mine does it too. I am working on a new hook design that fastens to the front seat bracket bolt. My '00 Jetta had a metal hook design that worked great so I am going to make one like that. If anyone is interested, I will post pics and a how to when Im finished. It should be an easy task.

Bring your floormats back to the dealer for warranty! That's what i did with my original mats and i got new ones! But, they said they'll only do it once. So, go warranty your mats and buy some Momo plates.

No problem with mine
I got this on the 3rd day of EVO ownership. All carpet look new, and mat stays in place. I do have to shift it around sometimes due to "dig in" during entry, but it fits fine for normal use. This soaks up the rain/mud/snow/gravel/boogers like nothing. Just remove, flip, and it's empty. Wash it during exterior wash with the same soap and it dries quickly to new condition.

those boogers can be pretty tough to get out of that carpet
