Isn't it bad or unhealthy to put an aftermarket bov in a turbocharged car such as the evo and sti since they have a wastegate?

A waste gate controls the amount of exhaust flowing through the turbo, a blow off valve releases the surge of air thats created when the throttle plate closes and the turbo is still pressurizing air. Happens when you let off the throttle while on boost.

APS is a great unit. put one on a cutomers car and its a perfect fit and finish. And it holds boost great. Let me know we offer them for $225 shipped.
