Get an exhaust with a hi flo cat, or better yet catless 8- ) As for intake, the stocker is the best one til you get so much power you need a larger intake flow of air, but the stock intake box is one huge piece so if you want more room to work with you can change it. I just put my boost controller on and boy what a difference it makes, so go get a hallman mbc and set it at 21 psi and get a mail in flash with these mods and you should be good. O yea dont forgot about the bov, I would go with an mr bov or any good bov that holds good boost, unlike the cheap stock shiet on our cars 8- x

I think I did a pretty good job of selecting good quality parts that work, and none that are menial-

APS BOV
Buschur TBE
Flash
Walbro
AMS Alky kit
Turbosmart MBC
GSC 264/272

I plan on getting a drop in filter and a 272 intake cam.

Try the Go Fast Bits Stealth FX BOV. I just put one on my MR and it works flawlessly. Partially VTA'ed, it sounds good too. No stuttering, stalling, or idling issues.

^^ way to expensive. i cant justify a ~$350 BOV when you can get a jdm dv for ~$120 that holds all the boost I will need. you would need more then the jdm dv if you ran a big turbo or alchy. i got my exhaust from ams in chicago. best mod i personally bought. very expensive, but i would pay the extra for it again. very quiet at idle and normal driving. all of my 80 year old neighbors dont complain and they complain about everything. sounds like a v8 up top. smooth sound, no zipper noise. i dont like the slanted mufflers that are huge, and this one has been mistaken for stock on looks alone.

Wow.. thanks for all the replies guys. Lots of stuff to look at.

My brother just got the HKS SSQV BOV on his STi... sounds nice, and seems to work real well. Is that a good BOV for the Evo? Or the GReddy Type-S..?
