Ya that and you can never forget how to spell your state. MISS-ISS-IPP-I. But that's pretty much it.

14.3 gallons?

Either you ran this thing empty and pushed it to the pump or you overfilled it and gas flowed into the charcoal canister. Hopefully this is not the case.

You'd get a "CHECK ENGINE" light if it did happend though.

Most I filled up on mine was 12.8 with 278 on the trip meter.

Its going to keep going up, and up, and up, and well you get the point. People keep buying so there is no real reason for it to go down. I dont think the world will stop buying it on a mass demand untill it reaches over 5 a gal for the "cheap" stuff. Must be a great time to be in the gas industry.

Bad news

Yep, I hate to be filling up the Yukon, Expedition or any large SUV for that matter. It would cost a fortune.

You got the freak gastank that's bigger. consider yourself lucky. now you can go like a couple miles farther until you run out of gas.

Or maybe the 14 gallons stated in the book does not include the volume of the filler neck.
