That's good information. And it's true. However, I live in Maine and have driven both RWD and AWD (My Talon) with summer tires in the snow.
If your careful with the AWD car, you can make it where your going. In the same conditions, the RWD car is hopeless.
The only good solution is snow tires mounted on some tough rims (pothole proof) for winter, and good hi-po summer tires for the other seasons.
All-season tires are nothing but a bad compromise. However, a AWD car will allow you to do almost anything with crappy tires. After riding around in my DSM for a couple of years with Michelin XGT all-seasons, I got seperate snow and summer tires, and I'll never go back.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, I appreciate it. Don't appreciate the *****y ones so much, eh?
I have been _extremely_ busy since I got the car, both at work and at home, and it was literally like after midnight when I was taking the pics. And yeah, as most of you guessed I've been spending the remainder of the time driving, playing or reading the manual.
But for you disbelievers, here's more pics and stuff.
