Unhappy CHATTERING? Please help!

I was having Al (dynoflash) drive my car because it had misfired a couple of times at the track and he did the worst launch I have ever seen and smelt. After that happened, every time I let out the clutch with the wheels slightly turned either way, my car chatters. It sounds like its coming from the rear-end, but I can't tell for sure. PLEASE help me if you have any ideas.

Thank you

-Dave

This is why I don't let anyone else drive my Evo.

could be your tranny.. i just blew my tranny and im sending it out to team rip for a rebuild. Does the sound occur during declel in 1st gear? and does the sound increase in frequency with higher speeds in accordance to each gear shift... if so its ur tranny or possibly your transfer case.

The sound only happens when I'm coming out of 1st with the wheel turned! I don't know why that is, maybe the added stress from not having the front wheels straight is a factor. And yes, I have an aftermarket clutch, an ACT street. I'm probably going to take it to AMS since Mitsu sevice suck!

I usually don't let people drive my EVO, but I figured Al could drive it well since he drives them all the time and has a 9 second EVO himself?

I actually figured out that the chattering/shaking/slight vibration can happen at low speeds regardless if I am letting my clutch out or not. I went aroung a corner in 1st yesterday at a couple mph and it still did it!? Pretty pissed.
