What intake makes the turbo whistle the loudest?

 

any cone. but they will all mess up your timing

lol where did you get timing from.... they will mess with your mass air sensor throwing your air/fuel off.

Any cone is loud but a drop in is best.

 

When you searched for HKS RS intake, what did it say?

 

keep the stock air box man. it's the best thing for our cars!

 

i have never heard of intakes messing up your timing....... but they will messup your A/R you need some type of tune for an intake

 

Well, yes, but messed up AFRs, particularly lean ones, will throw off your timing, too, which causes a greater power loss...

 

just put your lips together and blow when you hit the gas if you want a whistle.

 

But the cause is the mass air getting throw off so thats the problem... OT when you going to get a downpipe for your car in break into the 11's? Just got a custom flash for my girl.... real nice numbers..

Yes, I know, but it's the resulting timing loss that saps the power.

TheSpeedFactor donated and installed a 3" Megan DP and TP to finish off my exhaust. I tried to hit 11s, but only got 12.15. It was 95 degrees at 1pm on a Sunday, though, so maybe I'll have a better chance in weather like we experienced today. Frankly, today was probably my best chance of hitting 11s in the summer, because it got to the point of almost being chilly in short sleeves after the sun set. I am hitting the track this coming Friday and hope to get some more cool weather after the sun sets, but we'll see. Anything should be better than 95degrees with a 3300' density altitude at least...

Definantly will pull off a better time with the cool air. You should try talking AL into a custom tune.... same mods switching from afc-2 to custom flash gained me 40 whp/ 68 torque, but the car drives soo smooth that the extra power is like an added bonus. ( BTW im ruining this dikheads thread for not searching on the most popular topic on this forum, i sware im answering the same question every night.)
