Well, I am a little late for the party, and my registration got screwed up, but here is my list. Sorry if I go against the grain a bit.

First, make it look more like the 2G Eclipse. For a four door sedan it looks great (except for the wings...try again), but a good looking 2G Eclipse looked much better.

So 1. Better looks.

And while I appreciate all of the purists out there, for $30K, this will be my only car, and I am going to have to live with it year round in South Florida where you better learn to love rain, heat, and traffic. So...

2. A REALLY good Air Conditioner.
3. Power Windows and locks.
4. In car Adjustable dampening level suspension (street and track).
5. A strong single disc clutch because traffic sucks when your clutch is basically on or off.

The performance of the car is excellent. But seeing as I would have to drive the car in traffic, a little more pre-boost grunt would be great.

6. 2.4L engine with a bump of HP upwards of say 320hp.

Getting what the rest of the world has would be awesome. So tak on...

7. User adjustable AYC and ACD
8. FRONT LSD. FRONT LSD. and did I mention....FRONT LSD!

And lastly, a bit of an upgraded interior. The Recaros are nice, but I personally don't like them. Spending hours on the highway gets tiring real quick. So...

9. A nice set of Leather Seats like the ones in the 350Z
10. Lastly, make the interior more cockpit like. Think 2G DSM, but slightly roomier. Also, please use the softer touch plastics...again like the 2G DSM.

So there you go....10 things I would like to see. Of coarse, all of them could be options in some way to keep the purists happy.

If the Z was running mid to low 13s stock I would be far more interested. Same with the G35.

But ofcoarse, since I want it all, I would also like them to have an advanced AWD system!

 

More aggressive fuel mapping (PIG Rich now)
Hard Intercooler piping instead of accordian.
We have brembo calipers, but crappy rotors. Good vented slotted rotors.
a slight displacement increase to offset off boost lag.
LIGHTER LIGHTER LIGHTER.
Twin disk clutch.
LSD on front axle
Slightly lower roll center

 

AWD G35s are coming this fall. The Skyline will follow.

Mitsu please keep the EVO lean and mean. As soon as you start competing on luxury with the Evo you will fail.

If anyone wants a less hard edge performance car look elsewhere. There are thirty good options for luxo/performance.

A finely honed performance car is a short lived gift. Enjoy it now.

My 2 cents:

1. Standard boost gauge.

2. 2.4 engine.

3. better rotors and pads on all 4 corners

4. Anything other than the blue you are currently using in your seats. Interior is o.k as it is.

5. Solid intercooler piping.

6. 6 speed tranny

7. A real clutch. Not the fragile thing your using now.

8. Option heated mirrors , ayc, front lsd, and leather seats like the katskin stuff. Also a rallyart evo edition for under 45,000.

9. Make all price gouging dealers eat the horse rectum!
