I have an 05 EVO and it has a flash just wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem yet. The ecu keeps throwing a misfire code just when im at idle i keep clearing it but it keeps coming back. Do you guy think it could be something with the flash.

I had an 03 evo and it was plagued with p0300 (random misfire). From what I heard I thought the 05's no longer had this problem. Good Luck You'll need it!

 

He has a flash on it. My 03 was ok till i got a freaking flash, got rid of the **** (dealer 0300 reflash fix) and the 0300 never came back

 

Thanks i know how the search button works but i didn't see anything with an 05 having that problem. That is why i put a post up.

 

Would not gapping the plugs throw this code
