I have an 05 EVO and it has a flash just wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem yet. The ecu keeps throwing a misfire code just when im at idle i keep clearing it but it keeps coming back. Do you guy think it could be something with the flash.

I had a the same problem when I got my reflash, and I couldnt get it to go away. I had the ecu pulled out of the car for a few days while I was being tuned for my standalone. Ran into some problems with the EMS and had the factory ecu put back in till the EMS was fixed. Ever since I have not had the code shop up. A lot of times when your idle is adjusted it messes with the idle air controll stepper vale (IIRC). Sounds like that needs to be reset then your problem should go away.

How would you go about that? Im having the same miss fire code after cams and custom tuning by TT.
