Just got my XS UTEC!!

Alright so i just got it a couple a min. ago in the mail and im pretty sure i can install it no problem only thing is im new to tuning and have no idea how to even get started and what not. Right now i have the injen intake and upper i/c pipe and a borla cat back exhaust with my blow off valve venting to atmosphere so if i anybody c ould maybe give me some settings to start with and some advice it would greatly appreciated thanks.

Step 1, stop venting to atmosphere. Makes no sense, bad for performance, bad for tuning.
Step 2, get a TXS tuner light w/bosch 02 and a TXS map sensor installed, and a visible boost gauge.
Step 3, read the TXS instructions on tuning and logging many x.
Step 4, log a few clean 3rd gear pulls to redline.
Step 5, check afrs and on 91-93 oct. shoot for max of 11.2 between 5500-7500 rpms

any other suggestions? like how do i keep the it from fuel cutting and the boost from tappering to the 16 psi crap also how do i work launch control?

UTEC handles all that.. Fuel cut, boost control, all that can be taken care of with the UTEC.

Umm read the manual? I don't even own one, never used one, and I know how to tune a UTEC. Read the manual to see if it could do what I want. Learned a lot about it. I suggest you do the same before you hurt something.

does anyone have a link to the UTEC manual????? i'm looking into a the UTEC and ECU+ and i have the ECU+ software and manual..... I would like to play with the software and read the
manual for UTEC... thanks
