Reinforcing wing for CF trunk

I have searched for this topic for a couple of weeks on and off and I havent found anything. I have pm'd a couple of people and they dont seem to know either.

So my question is simple. I want a CF trunk, but I have heard that you need to reinforce the wing. I was just wondering how people were doing this if at all.

Thanks..

i have never done this but i would imagine that you might wonna just get a piece of quarter inch thick metal machined to the right size and just bolt it underneath the wing inside of the trunk. this should spread the load out a little bit and not put all the strees right on the holes. or another fix might be to just get some large washers spray paint them black and insert them.

The wing structure itself should be strong enough. One of the car mags but a lady on one for a picture. As KRT SHP said, you may need to worry about the trunk's strength in dealing with wing loads. If the trunk is properly designed for the Evo the designers should have taken this into account.

Best wishes,
