Dyno time! Anyone care to guess my #'s?
the numbers aren't much to look at, but once u sit in the car, u dont care about the numbers. i put down just over 282whp with 264 torque. had a run with justchil on the interstate the other night. we are pretty much the same, minus the fact i have "generic" mods and he has cams. he pulled pretty good, but both of us took a blown GT. andy, once i get my cams we will try them again. wanna see how much they improve it.

I'll be down at Kanawha Valley Dragway on Saturday.. Mine is nothing special to look at. cpdevo's engine is nicer looking for sure. I had bought a BR heatshield which would make things look a little better but the studs were aluminum and broke off.. so I'm back to the stock shield.

. It was good that you pointed the scenarios out.
Yes the reason for that was when the original owner bought the pipe from you he had it flange for a turbo xs rfl which was a VTA bov. Not sure what he did to the MAS pipe but it was screw up, the recirculating bung pointing downward. I wanted a recirculating bov so my brother had to cap off the original flange (vta bov) and made a 1g flange. He also had to cap off the bung on the MAS pipe and open a new one. The pipes were then powder coated to blue. It was all for free since he is a welder and the company he works for does powder coating.
I have the BR receipts
Like I said before I believe there's an exhaust or vaccum leak somewhere on the car that's preventing it to run maximum potential. During cold start the rpm and vaccum on the boost gauge will fluctuate like it's trying to find the correct A/F. I also can hear tapping\ticking noise from the DP\lower pipe area. When I first had it flash the car was running very strong. After the clutch installment it was never the same.

I'm not sure but that was my initial guess. Did you have to remove the entire DP and then put it back on or did you just loosen the DP bolts and refit it? How did you fix it?
Thanks.

The hp this guy is talking about is on an unmolested Mustang Dyno. Did you hit 282whp on Buschur's dyno? I hit 295whp on a Dynojet without cams, so obviously I'd go well over 300 with cams, but that's not relevant to bdking's comment for obvious reasons.
