Dyno Results

Well guys, I put my Evo on the dyno yesterday. The baseline pull was 292 HP and 286 lb.ft Tq. on 91 octane @ 21 psi tapering to 18. After some tuning I was able to buld a much better torque curve but I didn't gain much HP. It resulted in 298 HP and 293 lb.ft. Tq. Then I turned the boost up to 26 PSI and added 5 Gal. 100 oct, did some minor tweaks to the map and ended up with 330 HP and 322 lb.ft. Tq. It was a very conservative tune, in the low 11 range and my tune still needs some timing tweaks. Mods on the car are only!:

K&N drop in
Injen Downpipe
Injen Cat Back
Manual Boost Controller

Also I just wanted to say thank you to Maton at AWD tuning for letting us stay on the dyno untill 1A.M.

Thanks, originally I thought that the dyno was just reading really high, but there were three other Evo's on the dyno, one was my friends who has the same mods plus a new FMIC and he only put down 265 HP and 298 Lb Ft. Tq. The other two were 03's one had an intake, exhaust, BOV, SAFC and it put down 235 HP and the other 03 had an SAFC and an exhaust and it made 227 HP.

Very nice. The ECU+ looks to be a good unit.

The software looks like that of a Dynapack. Looks like it may have a knock event shortly after 5000rpms too.

I'm sorry, but I'm really confused, how is that everybody else dyno numbers are low, but your numbers are high, extremely high even with race gas? I mean I'm not doubting your claims, I just think you may have the best factory EVO freak I've ever seen. Try hitting a drag strip to see what your trap speeds are, that is also a good indication of power. With 330WHP you should trap 109-112MPH.

I ran it on my G-tech Saturday night and it resulted in a 12.68 @ 111 mph. Last best was 13.3 @ 106 on the G-tech but I was able to pull a 13.1 best at the track.
