Those curves are horrible and it looks like you have some serious timing pull going on.

What where your AFRs?

The dip is from timing being pulled, I have since added some timing in that area, also the curves look bad because the graph is autoscaled, I have a few printouts of the graph on a 350/350 scale and it looks a lot smoother. I can smooth it if you want to, but it doesn't change the results. If I would have had another hour available I could have been able to get all of the tuning I wanted to, but it was simply not possible so the adjustments were made post dyno, and my datalogger shows a much better timing curve now and I have stabalized the two lean spots and one rich spot that I had.

That is one thing I need to talk to Tom about, I am not sure if my results came out funny because of the way the dyno loads the car but the graph and the numbers came out all whacky. I thought it was the software but I opened another log of someone else's and it looked fine. So this weekend I will go out on a clean road and make another 1/4 mile run to pull a good log and a dyno analysis to see how close it is.

i really really want the ECUplus..... it looks really easy is to tune!! i would like to ask Tom if he has any plans for a separate map for WI so you could have fuel, timing, boost is in the works, and WI........ that would have everything i want!!!

You can have as many maps as you want, you just have to save the maps to your hard drive as the ECU+ holds one map in memory at a time.

What I usually use for a trigger for WI or AI is a variable voltage switch, which I use in conjunction with my MAP sensor that triggers a relay when x amount of boost is reached. It is the same effect as using a Hobbs switch but much more accurate and super easy changes can be made since the voltage of the sensor is directly related to boost pressure. I haven't installed my AI kit yet but the plans are all drawn up to do it. When I do I will tune a new map and save it for when I plan on spraying Alky.

The numbers I ended up with are great! But what is more important to me is that I went in making 286 Hp and left with 330 HP so even in you call it 250 HP I would have still left with 44 more Hp than I went on the dyno with and it dropped me 4 tenths in the 1/4! Isn't that the purpose of a dyno?

true... it's good you did a baseline first, because the visibly dramatic improvement is the real story here. Congrats.

Here is a pull on 24 PSI, the result was a smoother overall HP/Tq Curve.
