Betta be extra careful right after a rainfall since the rain brings out any oil left on the road...

yeah it's raining in the south OC right now but don't be stupid and doing this all the time. The Advans are not meant for wet weather driving. Don't go out and wreck car

I hear people in Cali get stupid when it rains.

They start driving slow and think that there's 4 ft of snow on the road... according to some friends who moved there from michigan. x 10

Actually, yes they get stupid, but they drive FASTER, not SLOWER.

Not sure why, but lots of fools in So Cal start driving really fast when it rains like they've got something to prove or they've never seen rain and it makes them crazy, more stupid than usual, or both.

In No Cal we get lots of rain in the winter and natives or long time residents are used to it.

How can they driver faster than what they're usually driving?
Jeez, I was there (all the way from SD-SF) doing ~85 which is pretty normal for Jersey when you're... well ... speeding, and everyone was faster than me
From my experience Californians (in general) are the fastest drivers around.

Within 30 minutes of the downfall I witnessed one crash on 10th and F st and one on the 94fwy. I'm originally from NorCal and have to say the majority of SoCal drivers flat out suck in the rain. Especially those cruising at 70mph in their Expeditions.
