cf vortex generator

is anyone having problems getting thier vortex generators to sit flush on the roof the side of the rear windshield is fine but the other side doesnt please advise with any tips to fix this thanks in advance.

i bought a CF vortex generator from lancershop and it DOESN'T fit at all ! i mean i tried snapping it in on the drivers side roof , passenger side , in the middle and even put water and alcohol on the roof to slide it on the corners of the roof but it just doesn't fit !!!! i am returning it ASAP !!! stay away from it ...save yourself ! just my .02

Same here. Returned it and purchased a stock one. Fits perfectly. Too bad, because I wanted to match the wing.

Yeah it doesn't fit well at all.....I will be honest I wanted the CF bad so I just sanded the middle where the antena goes and the sides to get it to fit right...

I can't remember the company where i got mine from but it was who first came out with them quite some time ago. mine fits just fine and i haven't had any problems with it at all.

I just purchased the factory piece for my IX and it doesn't seem to fit flush either. The front sides where it fits into the rain gutter don't seem wide enough, so it floats a little. From the pictures I've seen, it looks like others have this too. Is that just the way it is or is there a trick to installing it? Do the factory ones on the MR have this problem? Maybe it's made for the aluminum roofs?

The really nice thing about purchasing a IX vortex generator is they come color keyed.

i bought oem and the edges are up alittle maybe a heat gun will fix it!
