Companies like that are always on the lookout for things like that.


I once posted a set of knockoff SPARCO seats for sale on these forums (ofcourse I didn't know they were knockoff's, i paid real sparco prices for fake sparco's off ebay). The owner of SPARCO who never posts on these forums all of a sudden sent me a very rude PM threatening to take me to court, etc. because I was selling knockoff sparco's. And boy, was he a real a$$hole.. but I understand his position.

Anyways, like I said, companies always have sum1 keep an eye out for these things..

 

i dont understand there hours there open. i think it is 12 to 5. i dont no. i got the rnr/hks catback and im still waiting for it. i have herd it is a great cat back and greatfitment/quality and a full 3 inch. i still havent got it and now im hoping it is what i have herd. any1 with a coment would be of some help to me and my baby/evo. thanks.

 

i have the rnr/hks carbon-ti turbo back.

Fitment is good, although the downpipe (with flex section) is very closing to touching some parts, but it doesn't. I got it without the resonator, and I thought it would be obnoxiously loud, however it's still not really loud.. i'm pretty happy with it, however i did have to wait 3½ months for it..

 

3 months, that's freaking crazy....

 

well i was suposedto have it friday. tomarrow it is monday. we will see. also on that cat back i hope i dont get a rezenalor cause i asked for just a strait pipe to the muffler. spelling may be off in a few words there. also do u got pics of it i can see. and did it neck down anywhere. how where the bends. thanks alot

 

it would have been 3 months, but they 'accidently' sent me the wrong muffler. they sent me some stainless steel piece of **** canister when I ordered the hks carbon-ti. When I called up to ask why, they said "well i don't see hks carbon-ti written here anywhere... but the price you paid does confirm that you probably would have wanted the hks carbon-ti. so you can go ahead and ship us the other muffler back, and we'll ship out the hks-carbon ti to you in another week or so" I had them reimburse me for the shipping cost back to them, by faxing them my receipt.

 

i never had a bad experience with RNR, .... i purchased my turbo kit(gt35R) from them and now i am waiting to get my car next week after the 2.4 shortblock is being installed.
ryan, has not charged me labor for the clutch install, he helped me purchase my new rims(ce28n's) thru Pann auto in san diego and i got a good deal.

Also, don't count on what they say for shipping.

My advice is this, call them EVERY DAY asking if it has been shipped out and when it was shipped out. If they say it HAS been shipped out, then ask for a tracking number. They say it has been shipped out, and you call back in a week, and they say "oh it will go out tomorrow". And even if they give you a tracking number, it doesn't necessarily mean it has been shipped out. What they do is give you a tracking number, but they don't call UPS for a pickup. So everytime you put the tracking number in on the website, it just says "item has not been picked up, but information has been received" ..or something along those lines, just to kinda shut u up, and buy them more time.

Ryan said his company is not how it was before, and that they are more efficient now, but this whole knockoff TIAL wastegate thing in the first post, got me questioning their service again..

dose it come strait out or on an angle. and thanks for the tip. im not going to bad mouth them yet just because it is a few days late. but they will be geting a call.

 

i'm not necessarily "talking ****" about them, but i'm just speaking up about my experience with them, and the way I felt best to deal with them..


As for how the tip sticks out, it comes out at a very very very slight angle. But not enough of an angle to really be able to see the "carbon fiber" part of the canister. ..which annoyed me lol.. cz i thought it would come out to an angle like the real hks carbon-ti catback does.

This is not the first time they have been busted.
I saw with my own 2 eyes a downpipe that had two weld spots where a badge was removed. This was reportedly a Megan with the name plate removed.
The downpipe issue has been reported by more then one problem on this forum.

 

I called them and they Admitted to it being a Megan Racing Downpipe so no issue there, the MAJOR issue is that Tail wastgate being fake, that FLOORED ME, omg they need to respond now that is fraud.
