Smile Close-to-stock MR dyno

Had my MR for a little over two months now. I just got the AMS 3" Turboback w/resonated cat delete installed yesterday and decided to see what numbers I'd get out of her...

This was on a mustang dyno which reads a lot less compared to dynapacks. My only mods are the turboback and a k&n filter. The boost taper to redline totally sucks @$$. It goes from ~20-21 psi dropping all the way down to 16!!! I'm definitely looking forward to intalling my mbc and possibly a flash soon

I definitely agree with everyone on the boards. The car runs conservatively rich from factory.

Dam them graphs are hard to read it needs to be smoothed out or something. Nice power by the way.

I said the same thing to the tuner. Must be the software they're using. It looks like a lie detector test!

Well we could have smoothed out the lines some more but would have lost some of the accuracy. These numbers seem in line with the other EVOs we have had on our dyno with similar mods.

That's good for just a TBE and panel filter.

I have similar modifications and thinking about what's next... flash, mbc, safcII ?

No worries Dave. I didn't care about the lines. What's important is the numbers and any indications of problem spots I may have. Thanks again

Personally, I'd install a mbc just to get rid of the horrible boost taper.

The consensus on this board seems to be that if you don't plan on tuning yourself, then stick to a custom flash, but if you want to get more involved with tuning, go for the safcII and ultimately, a standalone ems route.

I'm thinking about the WORKS P2 flash or just getting an MBC for now.

Did you try running the stock air filter to see if their was a power difference between the K&N and stock? What blow off valve are you running?

Sorry, I didn't have the stock filter w/ me at the time. I'm using the stock MR bov. Everything is stock on the car except for the filter and full turboback exhaust.
