what happened to my steering???

So while driving out and about tonight... i ended up driving a friend of mine's stock Evo 8 and it made me realize... i've lost the tightness in the steering

i remember when i 1st got my car... one of the things i loved most about it was how TIGHT the steering is on it...

(his evo has more miles.. and the same tires (nitto 555))

my steering isnt at tight as it was before i modded it... was it something i did to mess it up?... the only thing i could think of that COULD do that... would be the Exedy Twin Disk.... but it still doesnt make since to me why that we make my steering looser.

my mods:
TBE
injen intake
Hallman MBC
Exedy Twin Disk

what do you think it could be?? and is there any way to make it tight again????

Please help

Thanks

Vince

so you both are on Nittos? Perhaps he has more air in the tires than you do?

also switch back to the Advans and you'll get the steering response right back. I'm sure it will be a night and day difference.

How's the weather over there? If its been cold, the tires might not be gripping as well.

i am +1 for taking your car to get an alignment. it's not that expensive. somethings probably loose, you may have hit something like a pothole, etc and just not remember. or maybe your suspension bushings some where took a dump. get some new bushings anyway, it definitely tightens everything up... alot. an alignment job is cheaper than all new suspension bushings.

i doubt it's your steering column unless it feels phsyically loose.
