It will be self explanatory once you get the MBC

I'm getting ready to do this myself. From what I've read on these forums:

1. Make sure the mbc is turned all the way counterclockwise so that you're at stock boost.
2. Find a long strip of road and maybe a friend in the passenger seat to keep a good eye on your boost gauge.
3. Drive the car at WOT in 3rd gear to see where your boost is hitting.
4. Pull over and turn the mbc 1/2-1 full turn clockwise to increase your boost and repeat step 3.
5. Keep doing this until you've reached your target boost level (~20-21psi).

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong or if I'm missing anything!

you'll definitely feel a difference - I installed the Forge MBC last weekend. the feeling at WOT when the boost hits 21 psi or so and just sticks there instead of tapering is awesome.

A MBC is one of the best mods you can do especially if you already have an exhaust. I think you gain at least like 20 whp from just a mbc. One thing to remember is that you will overboost in 4th and 5th gear no matter what with a mbc. My 5th gear boost is like at 22.5 psi set by al, but in 3rd it's right at 21.5psi. It's nothing to worry about he told me.

93 octane: 21 psi peak 3rd gear

91 octane: 20 psi " " "

Some have suggested more psi respectively ea. But this will give a margin for error
