This what you need to do with your evo. It looks like the only 'mod's that actually added power to the car was a cat-back, straight pipe (no cat). I'll say this get a TBE, cams and gears, boost controller, fuel injectors and a AEM EMS tune and you will be DAMN happy with your car. You'll drive your car and then drive the GTO and say how could I ever think about trading my evo =)
I also have DynoFlash which gave me a total of 282whp 281wtq

We live in America, everyone has the freedom to trade in a wonderful, one-of-a-kind automobile for scrap metal. We even have the freedom in this country to build poor quality automobiles - too bad it's about all we build here. So go ahead, I respect you for the great sacrafice this will be my friend.

I may be wrong, but I have been on the bad side of that arguement. I have learned my lesson, and have found a fast car with room for friends it is called an Evo!
I agree 100%, been there too, and i am actually, i have a lexus gs 300 and looking to trade it in for a evo ix, wife is not a happy camper. And i got the lexus about a 1 1/2 year ago.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Trust me, Evo > GTO. I drove the goat before I got my Evo. Truely wasnt impressed. I thought it was heavy and as said earlier the interior, albeit looks nice, but function sucked. Not to mention at 70 mph it would tell me by ringing and displaying 70 mph. That got on my nerves quickly. Clutch was long, shift numb, steering not as tight. The only way to heal-toe: is if you have monster feet.

There was a show on Speed Channel not to long ago about the 05 GTO and Grand Prix. The best the GTO could do in the 1/4 was a 14.0, with a race car driver at the wheel. Not saying people cant get those to go faster, but with 400 hp Id expect better. There was also a challenge on Speed with a stock STi and GTO. 0-60 the subi won and they were even in the 1/4 match ups. Handling end up with the subi if I can remember correctly.

IMO - the 05 Evo is hands down over the goat. So much goodness for the price. I will grant the v8 of the GTO with sound. That is one of the best stock exhaust I have heard.

Don't listen to these guys. Trade your Evo man. That's the best thing you can do, and while you at it trade your wife too. Maybe the GTO comes with a younger sexier woman. .........just kidding.

Are you freakin out of you mind??????

That's true. The list goes like this: 93 BMW325IS (bought from Germany)-->2001 BMWM3-->2003 350Z-->2004 STi-->2005 Evo 8 and I bought the Infiniti M45 seperate.

If you're now considering a GTO, then you obviously probably didn't buy an Evo for the right reasons, so I'd say go with the GTO if that will make you happy. I personally don't care how fast a car is in a straight line. And the GTO isn't even fast.
