Have you even driven a 2006 GTO in your life? Im from australia. Your GTO's get sent from here with a few different badges etc. You will regret that car if you buy it. The inside is much smaller than you think. If you get auto, you will make the biggest mistake of your life for a car like that. I've driven both auto and manual for GTO's. Auto definetly does not show any grunt. manual is the one to go for but fuel wise and space wise you will hate it. Evo is just a better car even though its less luxurious. Evo proves its own aim, where GTO sits in its own cloud with a loud v8. Listen to your wife and stick to the evo

I think you are going to get a really biased opinion on this question, but IMO I wouldn't trade an evo in for the GTO. I dont think I will ever trade or sell my evo, probably just keep it for the collection. Good luck with your decision on this one.

I think PapitoEVO8 is playing with us, he probably never thought about trading the EVO for a GTO, am I right on this?

I would say do it just because you already had a evo for awhile now you should ecperience the GTO for awhile.........but i would keep in mind The C6 as a option
