My name is Dave Gilbert I am the owner of Performance Autowerks, first off we do not inflate dyno numbers, period. I rely on the income from my business to support my family so doing something to jeapordize my family's well being would not be in my best interest at all.

Secondly I do not remember seeing the chart that is being talked about here. The one that I saw showed less torque than that.

If any of you are familiar with the way Mustang dynos work then you will know that the numbers that are printed out can reflect a sharp spike from perhaps a bad reading or misfire or something along those lines. This is probably a simple matter of filtering the results appropriately and then re-printing out the graphs.

I will look into this in the morning and scan in the graph so the truth can be told.

I wrote back a PM to you David.
I am sure that you are not decieving anyone. David seems to be very proffesional in his approach.
Im sure there just might be some settings that have to be adjusted.
If you need any help whatso ever please let us know.

Thanks for chiming in Dave. The results that I post are from Run 3 on the dyno. Mike seem'd shocked as well seeing the torque that high at 272. I know your a stand up guy and will be going back there to get my exhaust installed. Mike was very helpful with explaining different options I have for my car to.

Actual dyno plot post

Here is the dyno plot smoothed out and filtered for everyone to look at. The number that was originally talked about was a spike in the graph due to incomplete filtering by our dyno during the run.

This is on a stock 2005 EVO. Seems pretty consistent with what we have seen on our dyno.

It may be consistent for what you see on your dyno, but not consistent with what Evos run on OTHER Mustang Dynos. To do 250+ torque on a Mustang dyno in stock form is still insane. That's about 40ft-lbs too high. That's higher than stock 05s on a Dynojet, but the WHP is only 10-15 too high for a Mustang (within reason).
