I have been in many GTR’s since you can atleast get them in Australia, Handling is no were near the level of the EVO, however great street racing car.
Just get the Evo X. After that, you may be in trouble unless you move up a few income brackets and can tackle an S4RS. Actually, just mod your third gen 7 or "hope" there's a 4th gen out!
I do hear rumblings of a new RX-7, If Mazda does their homework, it may be in my driveway. I dont think i can ever go back to a non turbo car. They are easy to mod, and they just sound so damn cool! I am also interested in the X. I hope they keep it at its roots.

...what!? your post makes no sense, how is that trying to start a fight (aside from telling an evo owner to get a subie in a mitsu forum), but i really wasn't. He asked a question.
dissapointed in my evo? hell no, i find a new reason to love it everday.
i also just want to throw this out there...
subaru, big smelly cheaters. what's with the 2.5L? couldn't compete with an evo with the subie 2.0L block? ooooh me so sorry.

Plus there will be others.... We have alot to look forward too.
Worse case, it puts pressure on everyone and they up the performance and lower the price of the current cars
It really depends on what you want, a good handling drivers car, or just ***** out speed.
Speed is easy, it just cost $$, now good handling, the car has to start with it.
Try to drive the first generation of the BMW M3 (E30 body code). While only have 200hp
, it's still fast, and the handling is insane. Plus it has all the cool luxury stuff.
I have both cars, and while the EVO is still stock (only has 2000mi on it) My M3 is faster every where, but doesn't have the turbo kick at 3000, more like 6000 on the M3.
Then if you want a insane car, try to get a early 1980's Turbo Porsche. They are really an experience! but not for the timid, or novice driver.

I don't know what car I'd get after the Evo...it would have to be a Z06 to keep me happy.
