Sure. My D gauge dims. There is no possible way I am imagining dimming. Granted it still dims opposite the dash (I havent tried the other wire combo yet, been busy) but it dims.

+1 The D-Gauge is not LED lit. The Defi Link Gauges are. I have the D-gauges but mine are not dimmable.

Just double checking, you used a D Gauge and it dimmed WITH the dash (not opposite it) via hooking the black defi lead to the green/white, and white defi lead to the yellow/brown, or vice-versa?

Factory instruction say that the gauge will not dim, play with fire and your gauge will get burned. So products are not used to the voltage difference and may work for 5 days or 5000 but (as an Electrician) i tend to stick with what the instruction say, i have a Defi D-gauge.

I did what you said. Installed it yesterday w/o dimming. Grounded the black defi wire to the chassis and tapped into the dimmer for light only. No dimming for me since the instructions say that the gauge does not dim. BTW, my gauge boosts to 22 psi at WOT and then tapers down to 17 psi. I hope that is normal on the 05 EVO.
