just like little schoolgirls gossiping over the prettiest girl in school because she has the current attention

about the ix wing being hollow... so you're saying the VIII wing entirely filled with some special cf liquid filler or something? I never noticed that on my car

What are you talking about go compare an 8 to a 9 wing side by side at a dealership. knock on the sides and top then say theres no proof. The 9 wing is HOLLOW. Maybe it is stronger or weaker than the 8 but it is still hollow.

*The 8 wing definately proved its strength accident after accident. It was the only thing in one piece from all the pics.

 

I knocked on the sides of the 8 wing originally when I first got the car and along with everyone else on the board, thought that the 8 wing WASNT entirely carbon fiber. It wasn't until somebody sanded the paint off the sides fo the wing to repaint that it was discovered the rest was carbon fiber.
That being said, i'm sure the 8 wing is hollow inside also with a carbon fiber shell?

Now, people are doing the same way now. It may be all carbon fiber, and "weaker" but I personally saw a IX wing and didn't see what the bickering is all about.

So until i see a sanded down IX wing or a rep from mitsu states himself, all your complaints about the wing not being carbon fiber and weaker is equilivant to the sky is falling.

 

the evo 8 wing has foam in the center , i would assume the 9s wing has the same

We need to take a EVO9 wing and EVO8 wing and smack them into each other to find out which one is stronger

 

Ive compared both directly, difference in perceived strength is not worth discussing. The VIII feels a bit tighter on the car vs. the IX will flex a tiny bit. The trunk feels lighter on the IX when opening and closing vs. the VIII.
