Evo VII Information

why does motor trend keep saying Twin-turocharged? are they on crack or something?
From the link in the post above...
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII:
Mitsubishi is serious about bringing its Lancer rivalry with the Subaru Impreza WRX Stateside. Dubbed Evolution VII, the twin-turbocharged road rocket is offered in Japan for a mere $21,000-$25,000. Overseas, the Evo VII packs 280 horsepower, race-bred five-speed transmission, massive Brembo brakes, all-wheel drive, active yaw control, lightweight aluminum body pieces, Recaro seats, Momo steering wheel, and titanium interior trim. Expect the U.S. version to sacrifice a few horses to meet California emissions, putting output in the 260-270 hp range.

Thats a little expensive!!!
I hope that the Lancer EVO is not that much. Lets keep in mind that Motor Trend has been wrong before. They said that the Lancer ES, LS, and OZ would be between $14,000 and 18,000, which is off by about 3,000 dollars. Plus the Lancer EVO 7 GSR's in Japan go for around 23,000. I guess we'll just have to wait and find out........
