A Ghost makes my lights scan when cold

Whenever I start the car cold and turn on the headlights they scan up and down independantly for about a minute. Just as if they were being controlled by the adjustment knob, same rate, and the travel is equivalent to one click on the knob, but they do it independantly. Is this normal, has anyone else noticed this or does my car have a ghost in it?

No mine never does that. The one thing I do notice however is that when I first turn them on the light seems to change color real quick. But that is right after I turn them on which I would say is normal.

Mine does it too man! Did you adjust your own lights? I think I may have messed mine up a while back.

It only does it if the lights are in the "highest" setting if I take it down one click they don't move.

Unhappy

It's an 04 I've noticed it for about a year, they always end up right back to where they were set, so it's not problematic.

Another strange thing my car does is make a clicking noices near the firewall whenever the key is in ACC or ON, I can hear it faintly from inside the car, It sounds electrical like 3-4 relays engergizing and deenergizing all at once but it sounds like they're struggling. It happens while I'm driving, sometimes after I hit a bump in the road, and some times w/o engine running with key in ACC. This has gone on since day one as well.

The last thing I would do is take to the dealership, those guys scare me - it's not their car.

Anyone noticed that as well?

I swear the car appears possesed, and whenever I try to demonstrate it, it refuses like that singing frog cartoon.

Bingo! My lights are set at the highest setting so I can see down the road, they are adjusted low so I have to move them all the way up to compramise.

Thanks man

One down one more issue to go - the clicking noices in the firewall
