Autoweek On Evo X
Autoweek Article On the Evo X
The October 24 issue of autoweek has a good article on the EVO X. It also has pictures of all the evo's from the EVO1 to the EVOIX. It says the car will have in the region of 300HP and instant response at all engine speeds thanks to a flat torque curve. Roll on 2007!!

I think Mitsubishi has done a great job keeping the price fairly reasonable on the VIII and IX. These cars have been their only "plus" in the last couple years and I cant see them pricing the X too high for the average Joe to afford. Anyway I will hope its priced in my range as it looks pretty impressive to me.

I just received that issue.
What I found interesting was the Evo timeline that was published. What's up with the older Evos having 276 hp, and then the Evo VIII being rated with 271 hp?
I did notice that the earliest Evos were weighing in at about 2600 lbs, and had about 246-250 hp. I'd be interested to see how fast those versions were, because that's a pretty decent power/weight ratio.

I ve seen a seperate thread on the X on how it actually looks. The front headlights are more like the VIII or IX ( they dont have the stupid TL or the new civic look). I forget but it only shows the front not the rear- end. People were sayin its a repost but u can see the headlights were totally different.
