Chicks dig it too
I knew I had a good idea (Yes this is self-promotion)

But seriously... look into the car... it's pretty badass, girls will dig it, and IT IS the best handling car out of all mentioned (which means less chance of accidents)... oh, and it's easy to drive.

Peace

Really don't get any of those cars. Unless you live in Malibu or some place where everybody is filthy rich, you will get ripped on by kids at your school. You will be the spoiled rich kid, his parents bought him a new evo, he doesnt know anything about it and he sucks at driving it. They will try to get you to race. If you don't race, you're a spoiled kid with a car he cant drive, and you're also a *****. If you do race, you'll lose, burn up the clutch, wreck, screw up ur transmission, or get caught by the cops. Its a lose-lose situation. I know because I'm a 16 year old and my dad has an EVO MR. When i'm out driving it, kids always try to get me to race, do a burnout, floor it...etc. I can drive it just fine, but I have been driving my moms manual ford focus since I was 14 with a learners permit and drove my dads ford lightning truck (automatic) a little bit when i was 13. The clutch on this car was hard to get used to even after mastering my moms easy clutch. It would be extremely hard to learn on. Get a civic hatch, integra, rsx, somethin like that and read everything you can about it on their owners' forums. Learn how to work on it, do some mods, learn how to drive it. Then you'll be ready for an EVO or STi or 350Z.

I really won't have that problem with other kids at school. All these weird texan kids want the biggest truck they can find. and the other tuner kids at my school talk alot about the cars they want but they end up with a accord or camry

Dude, couple of things:

1) Why even ask the question if you are going to be immature about the responses you get? For the most part people are giving great advice and you are not listening.

2) Do you care at all about learning to really drive? Not, hey I found the gas pedal and can drag race in a straight line. If you want that, get a damn Mustang GT. Perfect car for someone who isn't into true Road Course Driving. If you want to learn to drive, then YOU ARE PICKING THE WRONG CARS TO START WITH.

3) Is the car just a status symbol to you? All your friends talk about tuning, but get camrys... so you are going to be the one person to show up with a factory tuned car. BIG F'NG DEAL. All that says is that mommy and daddy have money. Want to really do something bad *** that shows you are into tuning? Get a used Honda Prelude, and dump $25 grand into it, and have a seriously badass personalized car.

4) Someone of your maturity level will probably just wind up having their license revoked, so go ahead and get whatever car you want. Then have fun in high school trying to get dates with a suspended license. You will probably get depressed and then take up drinking and dropping out of school. At which point, you will probably turn 18, and go on unemployment. So why don't I just cut the middleman out and send you $5 so you can go get a Happy Meal? Maybe then you will decide to grow up enough to listen to people who are only trying to help.

Peace

HAHA Yeah that sucks. Camrys and Accords lmao. I just dont get it. If they want something, how come they get something worse? It just doesn't make sense. If you want a really fast $30,000 car, why dont they just get one?

I know this sounds strange, but some people buy their own cars. Some of them even do it without money given to them by their parents. They get these things called "jobs", then they "earn" their own money.

And as for the rednecks with huge pickup trucks, its not advisable to put an evo anywhere near that. ****ing rednecks. "I HATE RICER CRAP!!" Theres only one kid like that at my school. He does burnouts in the parking lot every day and hes a total douchebag. I'm scared to leave my car anwhere within a block of his. In a high school parking lot, people will ding the **** out of your doors. Thats probably not a concern for you because you're parents will pay to fix it anyways.

I don't know what you're parents are thinking. Either they

A) Are nice as hell and spoil the crap out of you
B) Dont know what any of those cars are
C) Trying to get you killed, and willing to pay $30,000+ on a car that will make sure to get the job done.

EDIT i saw the last guys post about the mustang. GET A MUSTANG. Seriously that is a good car for you. You can get an SVT or a GT. Either of them make more horsepower than an EVO or STi or 350Z. Down in redneck texas all the pickup truck guys will respect your mustang. You can get one in automatic if you want, theyre easy to drive, chicks actually know what it is, and they are very mod friendly if you want to get into that.

also as far as learning you don't wanna do begginner stuff like curbing the wheels on an evo, cause i gurantee it will happen so just get something cheaper so you can beat the hell out of it then get one of the cars ur looking at, i'm 18 and i've gotta say i'm spoiled because my parents bought me my car, but i did buy my first car which was a crx and it was great because alot of stupid $hit happens your first year so it might as well happen on a cheaper car, by the way it does suck having an evo in a high school parking lot, mine was there for the last month of my senior year and i was scared everyday that some dick was gonna key it.

Wow. I'm glad you actually listened to the advice members 5-15 years older than you suggested. If you want your questions answered, search, if not be ready to get ripped a new one.

If it's your first car, I would recommend a Subaru Impreza 2.5rs. Good power, takes mods well, and it's cheap and reliable compared to the dream cars you want.

That way you can learn how to drive a manual without the expense of frying a clutch. Changing a clutch in a subie is far easier than in an EVO....

It's this attitude that has people saying you should not get a performance car as your first. No one is jealous, if we wanted an evo we could go out and get a loan to buy one, its not like you're getting a ferrari here. We are giving you frank and responsible advice, a sports car is not suitable for a 16 year old kid. You're in grade 10 for godsakes, you don't need 300 hp. What you need is a car that is cheap to run, cheap to fix, easy to work on and most important easy to control.

Wow. Is this english? Your kind must breed in the tri-state area b/c the SRT-4 drivers in my town tend to vent their bov's while driving next to me almost endlessly to get my attention.

Be sure to add naws to your ride get a tail bov for the ladies.

This may sound dumb but i don't think u should get any of ur 3 choices. Here is where i come from u are 16 in high school(too many people will envy u and mess with ur car). Get something u can drive an Evo is not a good choice to learn to drive stick as it is it does not have the best clutch or trans. I learned to drive manual in my Evo and it took me nearly a month because i could not handle the power at first. Get something like an rsx-s or an accord v6 it's not as fast as evo,350z nor sti but is fast enough for it to be ur first car. EVo will bring u tickets and haters left and right. having a fast car on the street will make want to take on every1 and having an evo will tempt u enough to do it often.

Think it though evo is a great car maybe after a few years of experience driving.
