Just came frome the dealership (again). Salesman tried hard as hell to sell me the Evo at a 10k markup. No deal.
He also told me each carbon fiber wing is hand laid, and each wing is tuned for the individual car in a wind tunnel. Is there any truth here, or is this guy B.S.ing me?

 

The wings are indeed all handmade. As to each wing being tested in a windtunnel, well, I don't know about that.

 

hahahah maybe the first EVO 8 prototype was designed in a wind tunnel....but not every single car...that would cost enourmus amounts of time and money.

 

mostly B.S most salesmen i've spoke too know ****... and i doubt havn't heard anything on that on this board and i think we;ve pretty much covered everything.


and it may be me isn't wing adjustment more for you own pref, thats one i don'yt know

 

But that individual tuning is what justifies the 10k markup.
Just a selling gimmick and nothing more. Show em that dealer listing we have on here and see if they change their mind.

 

I've tried to change their minds, by letting them know San Diego wants to sell me one w/ a 2k markup. Those guys aren't budging. Thats probably why they haven't sold their Evos yet

 

Most of those salesperson just dont know about evo. They are just trying to bs you to buy from them.

If youre close to San Diego, you must not be that far from South Coast Mitsu (only a few hours) As of today theyre selling MRs for 31999. Its for real, I bought my IX MR there last weekend for 32799 and thought i was getting a good deal, and here they go lowering it another 800 bucks!
