I think evos and STis alike look better wingless....sleek and stealthy

I took the wing off my STi, I get compliments all the time and a lot less attention

hehe +1

and also i had 2 cars with out abs. and yes fun. but scary when it gets a little crazy. but i know in evo it does have sport abs. but i still i was coming up around a little tunr on highway. going around 80-90mph. and had to really jam on the bracks and the car got side ways a little bit. but def was fun. abs does help a lot tho and easyer on your self for the track and safty. so that would stay i think. just i feel can brack faster with no abs.

and with wing downforce with gas miles i know may look better this and that. but im going for the best of all performach and hendling. the wing does not look bad at all. if keeps the back end undercontrool i dont see why take it off.

The wing only REALLY becomes functional at 100mph.

It's not gonna rob you 2-3MPG at 75MPH.

mike, i'd switch to a CF trunk, CF vortex generator and go with the Lancer RA wing in all CF from Road///Race Motorsports. this way you lose some weight, but save some downforce.

If you wanted to road race, then why didnt you just save some money and by the rs. It is alot cheaper and already has some of the weight reductions done. just my 2 cents

I would say the RS wasn't intended to be a better road racer than the GSR.

It actually finishes last in almost every comparison except drag racing.

Since most people only race 5% of the time.... it would suck to sacrifice power options, HID's, moonroof, and radio 95% of the time.

Interesting...I'm just curious where you found that information. 70lbs is not much relatively, but it would certainly help...

Good point. I never thought of this, myself. The same goes for the STi. Maybe I'll invest in a c/f hood and front fenders.
