depends, not many complaints with newer evos. 03-04's had major drivetrain issues though, and also had to do with bad work being done to the cars that were being modded. People never learn that when it comes to mods, you get what you pay for, parts and labor-wise.

 

In my 3 months of owning my car, I have only had girls look at my car like 2-3 times. Actually, I don't think one of the times even counts. About two weeks ago at a red light, there were 3 HOT chicks in the back of a car and for some reason they were pointing at my wheels or something and I was like .

 

they were laughing at how a small they are!

Btw, I should mention, one of the other girls that noticed my car was driving an STi herself, so I don't think that even counts . I think it's because my car is black, not too flashy.

but yellow sure is. i got more looks from my yellow evo vs my red m or my friends black 996tt.

 

Yeah, if it were up to me, I would have gotten yellow. I think it's the best looking color, along with the BBY Blue and the Electric Blue. I just didn't want the attention from the police, I already get enough attention being young.

 

i thought i liked yellow so thats why i went with it. now, not so much anymore. my second one was silver. a lot less attention...

blk use to be my favorite color but i hate taken care of it. white and silver are so much more simple... but blk when clean is one hot lookn ****!

I would take a 02-06 M3 over an Evo...heck yes!

 

Yeah, I've given up cleaning it lol. I can never keep up with all the cleaning, it's liking a fat guy trying to run up the opposite side of an escalator, it just won't happen.

 

i would say an evo, may not be the best but price to performance the evo is the only way to go.

 

Both new and if I lived in SoCal, M3. I'd have to think about it a lot if the M3 was going to be my only car and I still lived in Colorado.

You're going to be able to pull a lot more girls in an M3 unless they really like cars, which most don't. You're going to be able to do whatever you want to an Evo mod wise, and feel good about it, for me, a car as nice as an M3 seems a bit more fragile and I probably wouldn't touch it myself or do any mods that wern't covered by the warrenty.

Overall i'd get the M3, chicks, looks, and you still have plenty of power.
