I have seen many Lancer Evolution on EBay.ca which is supposed to sell stuff in Canada right? But the sellers of the Lancer Evolutions are in USA but they said they will ship worldwide. So, does that mean I can go bid for a LanEvo and drive it in Canada?

Oh... but... is there ANY way at all to get this car into Canada like my friend told me to get it insured in US then drive it to Canada and get it insured there too.

 

if u purchase insurance from Wawanesa, they cover all across the US as well as Canada.

saw couple of ppl drives eclipse in Van BC before
but then street racing wasnt a problem back at tht time

 

I think i heard of the 1 vehicle per person cause my Japanese friend plan to import a WRX STi to BC but thats another story since the WRX is allowed in Canada. So if i plan to buy Evo from state and get it insured by Wawanesa I could be driving it legally?

 

Why would they not let someone bring a US market vehicle into Canada? Too much safety and emission equipment? The steering wheel is on the left side. I think the only obstacle would be possible import duty payment.

the fontmount intercooler doest allow the car to pass canadian safety inspection....does pass the 15mph front hit or somthing like that

 

So I guess even after fifthteen years law thingy I still can't import an Evo I because of the intercooler?
